Once you have pulled the tab, Mr. Carbonated Beverage is no longer your friend.
If you like it, then pull the ring off it.
Ted Kennedy engagement ring.
Digital age church key.
Oh I know what it is…it’s the Trophy of Ineptitude. We award it to mayors for ineptitude on the job. For example, I’ve been watching and listening to the Mayor of Minneapolis ever since this thing started and I must confess that part of me wants to apologize to former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin for thinking that (in the wake of hurricane Katrina) Nagin was the most inept mayor in the history of America. Move over Mayor Ray Nagin and hand over your Trophy of Ineptitude to Mayor Jacob Frey!
Riots macht Frey!
“Blew out my flip-flop, stepped on a pop-top….”
Another Covid-related tragedy.
“Daddy, what’s a pop-top?”
“You’ll have to ask grandpa about that.”
Ain’t that one of them newfangled shiny fishing lures?
Remember the first post-pull-tab beer cans that you had to push in two holes? Those were terrible.
Hell I remember having to use a can opener. I’m ancient you know.
It’s not the fun kind with the notches at the tab side of the ring.
With those you could
-break the two pieces apart
-hook the notch of the ring on the can tab
-pull the ring back using the curved tab as a spring, then let go
-shoot them at your friends and associates
Hours of fun!
