Our first installment comes from Congress. (I know, I know, easing pickings but this really fits the definition of “The Stupid, it Burns!)
Dem. Congressman Concludes Congress’ Opening Prayer With ‘Amen…and A Woman’
The Democrat congressmen invited to give the invocation for the opening of the 117th U.S. Congress is making the rounds on social media for concluding his prayer in…well, a highly unusual way.
And by “unusual,” I mean “unusually stupid.”
Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, a United Methodist pastor and the representative for Missouri’s 5th District, concluded his prayer by dedicating it “in the name of the monotheistic God, Brahama, and god known by many names by many different things,” with “Brahama” referring to the primary creator god in Hinduism.
He then bizarrely finished his prayer with “Amen…and a woman.”

I used to work in a company, where we rented and sold construction equipment and materials. We often had an imbecile come in to purchase something who was so stupid it was puzzling how they managed to drive to our location. It was amusing, because you know that the boss on the job site sent them in order to get them off the site and get a break from dealing with the stupid.
Congress is like that. These people are too stupid to do anything productive, so they’ve been sent to DC, waiting for their marching orders from the fat cats on what legislation to pass in order to skim more loot from the American taxpayers.

When I think of really stupid congressmen the one who thinks Guam is in danger of capsizing always comes to mind.
The fact that he said what he did, and is trained as a (supposedly) nominally Christian minister, should be an embarrassment to the Seminary that he graduated from.
