Good evening all and welcome to the show. Les, once again, scores the trivia question earning himself his second bronze oak leaf cluster. Well done Les.
I hope this week’s is a little tougher.
So, on to the music!
A toast to all the beautiful women who have allowed their breasts to be fondled — with their consent, of course.
To Cathy (dear, sweet Cathy!) — a toast!
She performed gymnastics expressive of her approval, so I do not feel I violated any unwritten code.
And then there was Eileen . . .
Oh, Eileen! Up and down… There we went… I was just a kid! Give me a break! If I could only relive that moment…
May all of you grasp similar memories.
Happy belated New Year!

White House Press Pool
I haven’t run across the “NOQ Report” before, and don’t know what the acronym stands for, but their take on the news is refreshingly good:
How Long Can Journalists Keep Smiling at Biden White House?
NOQ | January 29, 2021The sweet and fluffy coverage can’t last forever.
Before President Joe Biden was sworn in to the Oval Office, the American people received a glimpse of what hard-hitting journalism would look like for the next four years. From staying mum on the Hunter Biden story to having “chills” over watching Biden’s plane land at Joint Base Andrews, the pro-Biden “why are you so wonderful” reportage has been embarrassing.
…
The Scoop Of A Lifetime…
The mainstream press and the American people were given a scoop of a lifetime when White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki revealed that Biden’s favorite ice cream is chocolate chip. There has been no confirmation yet if the White House maintains a large freezer full of cold treats. But what is the deal with the Swamp and the frozen dessert? Four years ago, CNN made a big deal about then-President Donald Trump receiving an additional scoop of ice cream over his dinner companions. . . .
During the first day of the new administration’s White House press briefing, a reporter asked Psaki if Biden intends to alter Air Force One’s color scheme. Psaki was ebullient over the question, but she could not respond, promising to offer an answer to the pesky journalist’s inquiry at a later time.
One of the funniest developments in the early days of the Biden era has been the president’s violation of his federal mask mandate. As part of his executive action, everyone must wear a face mask when they set foot on federal property, like the Lincoln Memorial or the White House. Since enacting the measure, Biden has routinely violated the order, going as far as coughing into his hands while talking. When Psaki was asked about this by a Fox News reporter, she said that Biden has “bigger issues to worry about.” Remember when former President Donald Trump stood 100 feet away from people outside at the White House without a mask, and the cable news channels had the footage on replay for an entire week?
Apple: If You Have a Medical Device, Keep It a ‘Safe Distance’ Away from the iPhone 12 and MagSafe Accessories
Gizmodo | 1/25/21 | Jody SerranoAlthough Apple has long acknowledged that its iPhone 12 lineup and MagSafe accessories may interfere with medical devices, such as pacemakers and defibrillators, it released additional guidance for people who use medical devices on Saturday. The message: Keep your iPhone 12 and MagSafe accessories a safe distance away from your medical device.
In an support article, spotted by MacRumors, Apple explains that the iPhone 12 contains magnets as well as components and radios that emit electromagnetic fields The company also stated that all its MagSafe accessories contain magnets as well, and that its MagSafe Charger and MagSafe Duo Charger contain radios. These magnets and electromagnetic fields may interfere with medical devices, Apple said.
“Medical devices such as implanted pacemakers and defibrillators might contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact,” Apple wrote. “To avoid any potential interactions with these devices, keep your iPhone and MagSafe accessories a safe distance away from your device (more than 6 inches / 15 cm apart or more than 12 inches / 30 cm apart if wirelessly charging). But consult with your physician and your device manufacturer for specific guidelines.”
Defibrillators are devices that restore a person’s normal heartbeat by sending an electric pulse or shock to the heart. They can even help the heart start beating again if it suddenly stops. Pacemakers, meanwhile, use electrical pulses to help hearts beat at a normal rate and rhythm and also help heart chambers beat in sync so that the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

It’s old Candid Camera footage of kids reacting to a hot teacher.
Politico: Trump Ban Is ‘Twitter’s Priceless Gift to Biden’
P.J. Gladnick | newsbusters.org |January 30, 2021If anybody still wonders about whether or not Twitter’s banning of President Donald Trump from its platform was utterly political, Politico’s story on Thursday by Natasha Korecki should resolve any lingering doubts. In fact the article forthrightly reveals Twitter’s blatant favoritism right in the headline, “Twitter’s priceless gift to Biden.”
I don’t know about clicking the link to the site, though: it took a weirdly long time to load, for me.
Woman Buys Dress Online . . . . Receives Shower Curtain Instead
AsiaOne | Jan. 27, 2021 | Rainer CheungPre-Chinese New Year festivities usually involve buying new clothes to parade around in, but one woman isn’t so sure about her festive OOTD this year.
She bought a dress online but received a shower curtain in the mail.
The woman, who only wished to be known as Leong, told AsiaOne she purchased the dress from a store on Shopee. A quick scroll through the store’s listings shows only clothing for sale, which made Leong suspect that the distribution centre might have mixed up the packages.
“[The parcel] looked about the right size, about A4 size, but I knew that something was not right because I could feel the plastic rings through the packaging,” she recounted, sarcastically calling the shower curtain a “waterproof dress material with free plastic jewellery”.
Despite repeatedly contacting the seller, she has yet to receive a reply.
Instead, her request for a full refund was countered by the seller, who offered a paltry compensation of $1. In the screenshots supplied by Leong, the system would have automatically accepted the seller’s counteroffer had she not responded in time.
To be fair, Raquel Welch could have pulled it off.
(In my presence, anyway.)
In an unusual court filing, long-dead Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler sued in federal court in Clapsburg, Iowa, seeking an injunction to stop Democrats from calling every Republican “Hitler.”
Through his lawyer, the ex-bastard said: “I am sick und tired of being compared to every verdammt candidate for school board president — which are untermensch; und, and, I have a reputation to pro — I also object strenuously to my legal representation!!!!!!!!!!!”
His remarks were punctuated by pointed gestures towards various people in the courtroom.
His lawyer could not be reached for printable comment.
