1. Weird experience for me today. Well, not weird so much as not something I’ve experienced since last century. Had to get gas, I was just under a quarter tank. So I filled up and got 12 gallons. Now, for me, the weird part. It was $19.80. Yup, fill ‘er up for under $20. I stared for a while just to relish the moment.

2. Watched Das Boot this afternoon. It was on my wife’s list of movies she wants to watch. She actually has a piece of paper that she writes down the names of things she wants to watch or read later on. Three and a half hours but it really didn’t seem that long. I’ve heard good things about it and meant to watch it before, but never did. Good movie.
