Scientists now say that a boa constrictor’s squeezing kills prey by cutting off the blood supply, not the air supply as previously thought.
Huh. So which way do government regulations kill business?

The poison of progressivism paralyses the owner, and the continued pressure of excessive taxation, artificial wage requirements and overpriced/underperforming healthcare insurance lead to the inevitable demise.
Scientists also say global warming, er… climate change is real and man made.
I wonder how many tax dollars were wasted on this study.
If you were coiled up by a boa constrictor, would you really care at that point whether he was cutting off your blood supply or your air supply? I think not.
I’m going to bet the snake doesn’t put all that much thought into it and I doubt that every single snake victim dies of the exact same cause. What’s with “scientists” who make blanket statements about totally unprovable things as if it’s solved some long standing mystery of life? I never bothered to think about how a boa constrictor kills something and I really doubt very many people have. But now that I’ve been forced to think about it for a minute, I know you can make someone pass out in about 3 seconds by pressing against the veins in their neck, we used to do it in high school…for…fun. Cutting off their air supply would take much longer, therefore, my study is complete and I’ve determined that snakes know this too. Where do I send the bill?

How many scientists did they go through before making their finding?
Not enough.
