When I first saw this, there were no comments. Obviously, no comment adequately describes how awesome this is.

You got chills, Harvey? Then you must have a Constitutional FEVER!! Take two Preambles and imbibe plenty of fluids. ;-)

    Reporting for duty.

  6. MarkoMancuso says:

I only see one way to improve it.

“I am Coach Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant and I approve this message.”

  7. seanmahair says:

I wish this guy were running in my state. I like my congressman quite a bit but I’d vote for Mr. Barber in a heart beat. That’s what I call a patriot.

  8. the botnet says:

So chock full of awesome, for a moment the botnet forgot about the plight of the sad sad polar bears.

  9. Orwellian says:

Holy crap! That rates 7.8 on the Chuck Norris scale! The only way he could be manlier is if he endorsed moon nuking.

  10. zzyzx says:

While channel surfing yesterday I ran across this ad being talked about on MSNBC….they didn’t like it.

  11. Son of Bob says:

    Where do we enlist?

  12. Political Dan says:

Took the same sacred Oath….never had the chance to defend the Constitution from the foreign enemies, looking to make up for that in fighting the domestic ones..

Where do I report for duty?

  13. Cilla Mitchell, Galveston Texas says:

Took the same Oath years. Once you take that Oath, you are obligated to fulfill it until you die. I’m ready.

  14. Cilla Mitchell, Galveston Texas says:

My bad. Took the same Oath years ago. Talk about Shock and Awe.

  15. MJDZFUN says:

    Respect.

  16. storm1911 says:

Ther liberals are calling this a call to arms by evil teabaggers to gun down all the liberals. When you have no knowledge of, respect for, and participation in our history that’s the result.

    Barber for president.

  17. Plentyobailouts says:

His opponents must be soiling themselves. I think I’ll invest in bathroom tissue.

  18. Jackbooted Stormtrooper says:

Went on vacation in Alabama last week, I wish I could have stopped and voted for him while I was there. Too bad I’m not a Democrat.

BTW, the oil ain’t that bad in the Orange Beach, Perdido area.

Ahh… the libs are in full ridicule mode, they’re scared … Come get some, you Tory b*sterds. Gather your armies, indeed.

  21. John Morris says:

Love it. Perfectly conveys the notion that if ANY of the original Founders were resurrected they would be wanting to kick an arse or three.

But remember kids, we can’t actually field an army or shoot the bastards…. yet. So long as the ballot box remains viable the cartridge box is out of bounds. SEIU, ACORN, etc. Note the exception being noted and take heed.

  22. Smokey Behr says:

I took the oath years ago as well, and I have to sign a part of my paysheet every month that affirms by duty to that oath, and to PP&D the Constitution of my state as well. I’m ready to lock and load if it comes to it.

  23. 4of7 says:

Let’s see… we had 2 ‘demon-sheep’ commercials from California, the ‘Rifleman’ Agricultural Commissioner commercial from Alabama, and now ‘Founding Fathers call for war’.
This election season may be more interesting than watching Superbowl ads.

Of course, we don’t rise up in revolt until AFTER the Dems lose in November, the Reichstag (oops, I mean the Capital building) mysteriously burns down, and that one tries to declare Martial law… just so we’re all on the same page, right?
    I’m just sayin’.
