Obama’s Sucky Speech That Sucked
I didn’t watch Obama’s speech. I don’t get paid to blog, and why am I going to subject myself to an Obama speech unless there is a big fat check in it for me? Plus, I couldn’t imagine him saying anything interesting. But gathering from how Obama got Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews to rail on him like a couple of FOX News commentators, apparently I missed the pinnacle of him sucking.
Here’s what I gathered was the crux of the speech:
“BP is bad. I got people with Nobel Prizes working with me. We need renewable energy.”
It’s two month later, and that’s all he has? Oil is still gushing out into the ocean, and he can’t even pretend to have a clue what to do? You know the old saying, “Better to be silent and appear to have no idea what to do with an oil spill than to give a national speech and remove all doubt.” It’s like the guy hasn’t even cracked open his U.S. Presidency for Dummies book and still after all this time doesn’t even know how to fake being a leader. If you’re once again going to take over prime time, have something interesting to say.
“I am hear tonight to announce I will… NUKE THE OIL SPILL!!!! I am the president, and all who oppose me will be destroyed… including oil leaks! Muh ha ha ha ha!”
If he didn’t have something like that to say, why give the speech except to clarify how completely useless he is in this situation?

It’s two months later for us but Obama pulled that speech together in 5 minutes…the length of time he’s been involved.

Relax, Frank. President Dumass is far from the pinnacle of his potential suckiness.

I thought there for a while Keith was going to award President Obama the highly coveted ‘Worst Person in the World’ award complete with obligatory organ music and a thrown piece of wadded up paper.

yeah, it was right up there with “is heating oil too expensive? wear a sweater”
this guy is like the Jimmy Carter of U.S. presidents.

Is the irony lost on anyone that the incompetent fool who single-handedly proved the worthlessness of Nobel prizes is now trying to sell us on how those useless awards are supposed to boost your intellectual credentials?

Obama Crashes and Burns in First Ever Oval Office Speech…
But my favorite headline from the night was from Reliapundit at The Astute Bloggers who simple wrote: Obama’s OVal Office Address: He Just Threw His Presidency Under the Bus……

Jimmuhs’ suggestion was at least viable to some extent. odrama can’t even produce a suggestion.

The only thing worse than the speech was listening to Anne Compton swooning over it afterwards… I think she may his remaining fan.

“I’m sorry. I told the oil spill that there is nothing in the Commerce Clause authorizing the spill’s actions, but it just won’t listen to me.”

I just realized that Matthews actually said “this is the first I’ve heard of it!” when he was talking about Dumass explaining how BP has a cap over the well and is syphoning off a large amount of oil. MSNBC had no one there who reported on that? Wow, that explains why you get blank looks from MSNBC viewers when you try to have a discussion about current events.

MarkoMancuso: Threadwinner.
“Now Let Me Be Clear™, As I’ve Said Many Times Before™, There Are Those Who Say™ Now Let Me Be Clear™.
To Them I Say™ We Need Green Energy™, And That’s Why We Need Healthcare Reform™.
What a jackass.

I am creating the postion of Oil Spill Czar . I create czars because 1 they sound commie and I like commies, and 2, they can administrate for me. My administration skills couldn’t find my fannie with a ten man working crew.
This is my plan. Kill the oil spill. Let’s go. And then I’ll raise your taxes. Good night America, and good luck. With me in charge, you’re gonna need it.”

Clearly, he is all out of ideas since his — oft repeated — tire inflation suggestion failed to take hold.
June 16th, 2010 at 2:02 pm
“..or those tires will go woopidy woopidy woopidy.”

“And this is why I deserve that solid B+!”
June 16th, 2010 at 2:03 pm
Did anyone else catch this gem from the address?
“Failure is not an option! It is the goal!”
maybe it was just me…
June 16th, 2010 at 2:29 pm
Teh One gives himself a strong B+, but gives BP an F? really?

today, after a year and a half in office, our President has still spent more time campaigning for public office than holding public office.
June 16th, 2010 at 5:44 pm
Well, we knew he was gonna be incompetent (remember those discussions we had in 2008?), but damn, this guy is setting new world records for nincompoop.
June 16th, 2010 at 5:50 pm
i saw part of the specch, but damned if i can tell you anything about it….

Remember the big differences here are that with Katrina the president was not free to send military or take charge until given authority from the two local leaders Mayor Ray Nagin and the far left Chik Governor. The oil spill however is in federal waters not part of any state territory.
Who is surprised that this is what happens when you put a group made up entirely of Yale and Harvard “social justice” lawyers in charge of everything?
June 16th, 2010 at 11:40 pm
Yesterday I heard a news report that one of the oil-skimming boats out at the spill site had caught fire, possibly due to a lightning strike.
Today I heard that BP is burning up to 200,000 gallons per day of the oil That They Siphoned To The Surface For Recovery.
This sounds like a “Oops! Ah, crap … er, I mean, We MEANT to do that! Yeah, that’s the ticket!” moment to me.
Who wrote this scenario; Laurel and Hardy?
Also… the speech sucked.
June 16th, 2010 at 11:46 pm
ALL of his speeches suck. Every freak’en one.
