Am I the Only One Who Noticed This?

I’ve got nothing against GM’s new CEO, Fritz Henderson. He didn’t ask for this job, he just had it thrust upon him by a presidential decision of dubious constitutionality. And I certainly wish him the best of luck as he tries desperately to keep the company from going down in flames.

Still, you gotta admit that he DOES looks a lot like Rich Uncle Pennybags:

UPDATE: Since we’re on the topic, here’s the Monopoly Game Card Generator site. Go have fun.

  1. This dork has the same plan for the auto industry as Obama. Crush all cars on the road and in your garage now, force you to go to the Government Motors showroom and buy the new B-Roc. If you won’t they crush you like they crush car.

  2. I bet Obama played Monopoly when he was a kid, hated it and said “The government should just own all this! Real estate, railroads, utilities, everything! Everyone give me half your money!”
Question: Which token would he have been and why?

…Henderson is already saying the “right” things, including an assertion that bankruptcy, once unthinkable inside GM, is now “more probable.”…
…Just to get GM’s debt down to acceptable levels, he will have to get the UAW to take in stock rather than cash roughly 80% of the $20 billion owed to its health-care fund, says Barclays Capital analyst Brian Johnson. The union balked at 50% in stock.

    Talking seriously about bankruptcy?

Tying the continuance of UAW employees’ lifetime health care to the success of the company?

Sounds like this guy has his head on straight.
If Washington’s blind backseat drivers don’t lead him into a ditch ,
he may be able to get GM on course.

Did they have a big iron fist as a token in the old Monopoly game? I can;t remember, but if it’s the case, Nobama would have been it.

  5. Harvey & Basil & Frank: This Monopoly “draw a card” analogy is great. You guys should solicit card slogans in an announcement post and then and create / solicit enough of them to do one post per day (or week) – kind of like the current “I hope Obama fails” theme. Endless possible domestic and foreign policy subjects.

  6. Hmmm Fritz. The swatza that one has been compared to another contry’s president at one time. hmmm.
Still I think ole Fritz looks like that because that one appointed him to a job he cannot possibly win at. I for one will NEVER consider buying a union made anything, much less a gm car after they obamaed us. And without kissing us first.
