  1. I followed the links back to a March 17 Politico article about JournoList. Here are a few quotes-

…“No one’s pushing an agenda,” … “a virtual coffeehouse” where participants get a chance to talk and argue.”… “There is probably general agreement on the stupidity of today’s GOP,” he said. “But beyond that, I would say there is wide disagreement…”

All that collaboration has helped improve political investigative reporting
and newspaper sales these past two years, hasn’t it?

  2. Iowahawk has got to be the world’s most culturally / linguistically sophisticated satirist alive. How does he cook that stuff up? Of course, I often wonder the same about Frank and Harvey. Now, Basil, he just gets out the big analog tool box and starts throwing wrenches.

  5. I don’t know from the stories I’ve heard from folks on the front lines in the News vs Truth battle, it’s not terribly far from the truth. These people never grew up, they’re still playing by kindergartener rules. Everyone must play nice and be good or no one gets chocolate milk and cookies, except for the bully in the class or the crybaby or the smart kid or the culturally different or………………..yep this is exactly how it works in todays scrools.
