Random Thoughts

GOP should gain in 2010, but what are we going to do when the economy inevitably rallies some time between then and 2012? Rush Limbaugh should have hoped for better timing for the failure.

Interesting when I said we should accuse someone in the Obama administration of pedophilia, pretty much everyone picked Rahm.

  1. I don’t know what is inevitable. I understand cycles, but this particular cycle is being mucked with in a pathetic way. It’s hard to make long term economic predictions when you don’t know what the government is planning to do with 1/3 of the economy.

  2. If the GOP makes enough gains in 2010, they may be able to stymie the rest of Obama’s agenda and, therefore, bring about the aforementioned economic rally. Will they get credit for it if they do? Probably not. Such is the way of the world.

  3. Only two random thoughts???

BTW, Frank, since you haven’t made a post for 1st draft movie lines (You just keep it with your gay twitter friends!), I’ll post one here: “Dying is not much of a living, boy, as dead is the opposite of alive.”

[That comes later! Too much fun not to post, plus I want to see what you guys come up. -Ed.]

And yet, today the photo of Lord Barack checking out the butt of a 16-year-old surfaces, complete with ABC attempting to tell everyone that they aren’t seeing what they’re seeing. Looks like everyone picked wrong.

    I take issue with this:
“GOP should gain in 2010, but what are we going to do when the economy inevitably rallies some time between then and 2012”

If the liberals and their eyeball eating allies have their way with “Crap ‘n Trade” and “Healthcare Deform”, a rally is not at all pre-ordained. I don’t count a Dow of 9200 a true rally.

    Your regretfully dissident Ronin
