I tried explaining how conservatives think to a liberal once. I lost him at the “imagination and reality are not the same thing” part.

Kids are exactly the same. Parents and school administrators have gotten sissier.
I was bullied, and like most kids, passed along the meanness to others. Had it gotten serious, expulsions would have happened. The main difference between then and now is that while parents cared, they knew their children could be horrible little creeps. Now parents either don’t care, or they care so much about their little angels that they have to ruin Easter egg hunts so that babycakes can get a stupid egg.

Personally, I think people buy too many lottery tickets. We should put a tax on them.
Last Thursday, 45 of us at work each chipped in $5 for the Mega Millions lottery. That’s 225 tickets. WE WON! WOO-HOO! We won $16. We are donating the winnings to charity.
