Hope is the bedrock of this nation; the belief that our destiny will not be written for us, but by us; by all those men and women who are not content to settle for the world as it is; who have the courage to remake the world as it should be.
BARACK OBAMA, speech, Jan. 3, 2008
I liked J. Robert Oppenheimer’s version better: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”
What a conceited view from a committed communist!
Remake the world as it should be? According to whom, Mr. Obama. The world is shared by us all. Why should a few, or even a slight majority, decide how everyone’s shared world ‘should be’? Certainly personal Freedom and individual Liberty are of no concern to a statist such as yourself. You are a tyrant.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.
Those men and women who who have the courage remake the world will be stopped dead in their tracks by the EPA, National Labor Relations Board, FTC, FCC, Homeland Security,…..
Obama is only indicative of just about everything that’s wrong with people’s thinking. He’s the tip of our collective iceberg.
I like the traditional view from John Smith:
“If you don’t work, you don’t eat.”
Hope, without faith, is worthless verbiage.
