Inappropriate: Illustrated

Seanmahair emailed me about her… displeasure… at the fact that Obama concluded his speech to a Planned Parenthood audience with the words “God bless“.

Having obama say “God bless” is like having Hugh Hefner say, “Abstinence is always the best policy.”

Which god is it he’s giving blessings from?, Moloch or Mithras or Baal or Allah or a cadre of other blood thirsty characters? It sure isn’t the God of the Bible because it is spelled out quite clearly that human sacrifice is an evil practice.

Well said.

Although my simile is “saying ‘God Bless’ at a Planned Parenthood meeting is like Hitler saying ‘Mazel tov!’ at a Bar Mitzvah.

Or possibly like Carpenter cursing libertarians in the comments at IMAO.
