Obviously this video is a metaphor for every addiction, but it does kind of explain why Democrats have the black vote locked up.

There was and is no real ending to it.
The Democrats have the black vote locked up because most black people (and a hell of a lot of white people) seem to forget that at one time Democrats in the south were the party that passed the infamous Jim Crow laws and then made sure those laws were enforced by the militant wing of the party…the KKK. This arrangement lasted nearly a hundred years, from the end of reconstruction until the civil rights era finally brought it to an end.

It’s a shame that the Democrats aren’t really in charge of distributing narcotics and other addictive substances – After 6 months the cost would be so high and the supply so low that all the dopers would just quit “Cold Turkey” out of frustration.
