How about mandatory background checks and a 5 day waiting period.
So, no more car batteries? No more cars?
No more drain cleaners?
Shouldn’t they work on dry ice, chlorine, and pesticides next?
Should be a pretty darn interesting country (which anyone could conquer) when they’re done.
Once again, rather than stop importing the culture which uses such items as weapons, they simply restrict the freedom of everyone else – and there will not be one fewer attack as a result. (I live in So Cal. Making me wait for someone to unlock a cabinet before I can buy spray paint has not resulted in any decrease in illegal tagging/graffitti.* None. What. So. Ever.)
