I’ve always felt that my state (Alaska) where just about everyone is armed and most residents are hunters, should become the first state to declare itself a “second amendment sanctuary state” so when the Dems retake the Presidency and the Congress and then try to outlaw private gun ownership we can tell them to go to hell just like the immigrant sanctuary cities and states do when it comes to enforcing federal immigration laws. Just seems fair to me.
The thing is that in NY with their gun registry law they figure that a large percentage of gun owners agreed with that sentiment. Gov Andy has demonstrated what RTKABA types have always said by grabbing as many of those registered guns as he can.
