In my frat days we had cans of good good Gunther in the Coke machine because the beer was cheaper (and worse) than Coke. And I drank it. And late one night I found a dusty bottle of Schmidt’s of Philadelphia that had rolled behind the ice machine in ancient days. It had something hard that had settled in the bottom of the bottle. I drank it. But I can confidently say that nobody in the house would have drunk a Bud Light. At worst, we would have had the pledges take it to the DU house and leave it in the front yard. We had standards. Low ones, but they were standards.
