Burger King Ordered To Pay Whopping $8M to Man Who Fell on ‘Foreign Substance’
NY Post | 05/25/2023 | Chris PandolfoA Burger King franchisee in Florida, was ordered to pay nearly $8 million to a customer who allegedly slipped and fell at the restaurant and needed surgery for his injuries.
Richard Tulecki, 48, “suffered lower back injuries resulting in surgery” after he slipped on a “foreign substance” near the restroom of a Burger King location in Hollywood, Fla., according to court documents.
The fall caused “serious injuries” which required surgery, and Tulecki suffered a postoperative perforated colon, according to his attorneys.

How did they know it was a foreign substance? I don’t think you’re allowed to ask about immigration status any longer…
Weird for at a Burger King, but if it was Mickey D’s, they use Big Mac sauce on the outside of the space shuttle to help with reentry..
Did they check with an Umpire to verify the foreign substance?
With the perforated colon, he had apparently already eaten his order, just didn’t get to the mens room in time..
To get their $8 million worth, they should have poured hot coffee on him after he hit the floor.
Perforated colon? More believable if he’d have eaten Taco Bell.
