Islands That Climate Alarmists Said Would Soon “Disappear” Due to Rising Sea Found to Have Grown in Size
Daily Sceptic | 4/6/24 | Chris MorrisonAn amount of land equivalent to the Isle of Wight has been added to the shorelines of 13,000 islands around the world in just the last 20 years.
This fascinating fact of a 369.67 square kilometre increase has recently been discovered by a group of Chinese scientists analysing both surface and satellite records.
Overall, land was lost during the 1990s, but the scientists found that in the study period of three decades to 2020 there was a net increase of 157.21 km2. The study observed considerable natural variation in both erosion and accretion.
Of course, the findings blow holes in the poster scare run by alarmists suggesting that rising sea levels caused by humans using hydrocarbons will condemn many islands to disappear shortly beneath rising sea levels.
Reprieve!

Let’s hope the image turns out to be a photoshop. But the fact that the Navy actually posted it to their account …

Their marriage ended in 1970 with his death of heart failure at the age of 72. Goddard donated $20,000,000 to fund an Institute at NYU, named after Remarque and devoted to European Studies. The goal was to better understand the whole of Europe, not just the familiar Western European nations.
Bark Is Launching an Airline for Dogs in New York
Ad Age via Crain’s NY Business | 4/11/24 | Tim NuddDogs who are tired of being stuffed in bags when flying with their owners — or worse, crated in a cargo hold — can breathe a sigh of relief today, as Bark is launching an airline for dogs.
What about humans who are tired of being stuffed into airplanes?

(The fine print under the window is funny.)
Meanwhile, DamnCat’s opinion aligns with mine:

(That’s quite a bed she’s got back there. The censors were OK with that?)
