IDF: Explosion at Gaza hospital was caused by errant Islamic Jihad rocket
Arutz Sheva | 10-17-2023The IDF announced that the initial investigation into the explosion at the Ahli Baptist Hospital in central Gaza where Hamas claims as many as 500 people were killed was caused by a Hamas rocket that was misfired and struck the hospital and not by an Israeli airstrike.
The IDF statement says that “an analysis of IDF operational systems indicates that a barrage of rockets was fired by terrorists in Gaza, passing in close proximity to the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza at the time it was hit.”
This video appears to confirm that. It launches from Gaza, misfires, and strikes the ground. Even Al Jazeera broadcast it, which is like CBS and ABC and the Washington Post doing so.
