I’m finding it disturbing that I’m watching the U.S. Soccer Team play some team named Par. I’ve always said soccer sucks and I never watch it.
Ok I’ve watched 10 minutes of it and that’s enough to last me a lifetime in Moses years.
Well … all I can say is it’s not a game on a field. It’s a MATCH on a PITCH. Oh, and if your team gets shut out, they don’t end up with zip or zero. They get “nil”. As you can see, I’m well schooled in the fundamentals.
But, Canada must have a helluva team because yesterday in just one game … er, um, MATCH, they beat both Bosnia AND
Herzegovina. How is that possible?!?!
….Soccer!!
I’m with you 101%. There used to be a web site called soccersucks. One of the facts they point out is that fans brag about how much “athleticism” is needed to play – the average player “runs” 6 miles in a game. He pointed out that what that actually means is that in a 90 minute match, the average player is averaging 4 miles per hour. Which is just a fast walk (when I was in high school, I could walk 2 miles home in 20 minutes). Marathoners do 26 miles in 2 hours. Soccer players fake injuries. There’s a hockey player that DIED on the ice. He was pulled off the ice and revived, and then he asked to go back in the game. I’m old enough that my schools didn’t have soccer teams, or even soccer goals, but we’d play in PE and recess. I was always stuck as goalie, because I was unpopular and nobody wanted to be goalie. I was actually pretty good at it (keep in mind the circumstance – I probably would have sucked compared to places that had serious soccer programs), only ever being scored on once – in a game where they had 2 balls in play at once, and both were shot at me at once – I stopped one, but not the other. And in these games, the offside rule was NOT enforced. But even so, soccer is only slightly less exciting than watching the grass grow, even when you’re playing it.
Then again I heard a person spends approx. 15% of their life just standing waiting for the water to turn hot.
Or maybe I’m thinking that’s how much you can save by switching to Guyco….which sounds gay.
Not as disturbing as faking an orgasm in my humble opinion. 😛
But…but…but… who put up all the signs?
Only if they faked Apollo 13’s landing

The Shining conspiracy theorists seem to think it was faked. Therefore who are we to question them?
A dream woke me up in the middle of the night about how the Spanish Inquisition was faked and I couldn’t go back to sleep.
You want nightmare fuel? I’ll give you nightmare fuel:
Eeeeeeewwwww! 🤢
Stop, you’re giving me a b0ner!

I just heard that the income tax may not be temporary, and that Social Security may be in financial trouble.
No.
Just knowing Bubba Clinton gave both of them a pearl necklace almost gave me a boner. 😜
