I’ve been to Stone Mountain Park recently.
Well, actually I haven’t. But maybe I have.
Yes, this is another one of those posts I write in advance. As I write this, I haven’t been to Stone Mountain Park. But, by the time you read this, I will have been.
Maybe.
I was supposed to go last weekend, but then something happened and it was put off for a week. So, now, maybe I’ve been. But I don’t know. If you’re reading this, then I am probably busy doing Stone Mountain stuff. Or other stuff that interfered.
Maybe I got hit by a bus. You never know.
It’s your turn now. What’s on your mind? Been to any places that half the country will despise you for going to? Or just have a joke to tell? Anything will do. It’s Saturday Night Open Thread.
Who wants to start?

That’s still part of the fireworks show. Or what they call Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision®. It run through October 21 during this year. It’s generally on >a href=”http://www.stonemountainpark.com/Calendar”>Saturday nights.
20″ of rain here since Friday. Our house is 26″ above the street level. Could be worse. Hope it won’t be.
Some neighbors have it worse. If we’re ok I’ll go help neighbors Sunday.
Positive thinking!
Good luck down there in Texas.
Daryl Dragon, perhaps better know as “the Captain” of “Captain and Tennille”, was born August 27, 1942. It’s only proper to observe his birthday with this song about the affection that two large rodents show for each other:

Hey! I’ve been there. I caught the laser light show back in the 90s.
