Frank Advice for Life

Always keep your eyes on your goal… unless your goal is the Ark of the Covenant. It will melt your face if you look at it when they open it.

  1. “When I was 4, my mother told me to never look at the sun. So I looked.” One of the best art movies ever made.

“No one looks on the face of God and survives.” If you could die from looking at Him, He and/or your sense of sight would be the reason for your death, which is inconceivable. Anything you would see in God that would cause your death would most likely be from a spiritual realization that you’d rather die in that split second and be in Heaven with God, and God being God, would comply. But you have maybe a family and friends here on Earth that you want to care for, you’re still kinda young, blah blah.

  2. #10 – Corona,
    No, you’re not.

In the Old Testament, it was commonly believed that no one could see God and live.
Jacob, for instance, marveled that he had seen God and survived. (Gen. 32:30)
Their concern seemed to be more about how unworthy they were to stand before perfect righteousness than about how wonderful He is. (kind of like those Nazi’s in the movie).
Fortunately, Jesus fixed that for us.

  3. The Ark was major cool! It flew through the air on it’s own, smote people who touched it and were not suppose to, scared off evil doers and defeated them in battle! Excellent stuff! Sarah Palin would do really well running for POTUS with the Ark as her running mate!

  4. #12 – Corona,
Always remember; the moment you confessed it was Not the moment God found out about it.
But like I said before, “Fortunately, Jesus fixed that for us.” (I Corinthians 6:11) for example.
