So everyone is like “Carly Fiorina is a RINO. She is going to do nothing but make us made if elected. She is a super-duper RINO. Even thinking about her makes me cry.” So who does Sarah Palin endorse in the California primary? Carly Fiorina.
Yeah. What’s up with that? Palin is supposed to be the anti-RINO. I understand her endorsing McCain out of loyalty, but this was an open race in which an actual conservative could be elected. The person is going to be running against Boxer, one of the shrillest, dumbest Senators out there. We want someone good to do that. Instead, Palin stabs conservatives in the back, and not everyone is remaining mindlessly loyal to her. Palin even had to update her endorsement on Facebook to assure everybody that Fiorina isn’t a RINO even though she totally is.
Let this be a lesson to you: Never trust politicians. Ever. They’re like trained wild animals. You may think they listen to you and are loyal to you, but one day they could just suddenly turn on you and you end up like Roy from Siegfried and Roy: Injured and very gay.
injured AND gay… wow. i mean, i could deal with the loss of a limb, but being required to attend Broadway shows might just put me over the edge.
Never trust politicians indeed. But the Dems are so bad even RINOs look good now. Whether we like it or not, it’s a lesser of the two evils situation and the Dems have clearly show they are the bigger evil. I don’t like it but that’s what it is.
Even thinking about her makes you cry?
With spirit like that, twas no wonder Palin abandoned us.
Our biggest threat to a conserative victory is the inner workings of the Republican Party. Palin has been a victim of this and should know better. Or they broke her. Over and over the inner party either foists a POS “moderate” on us, or does it’s best to to shut down any up and rising true conservative. eiother OPalin caved in, or fell for something. The Palin now is not the Palin who got interest five years ago.
Trusting a politician is like trusting a liberal with your teen daughter.
Pro-gun, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-military, pro-strict border security, against amnesty, wants to repeal Obamacare.
Yep, that Fiorina’s a regular Ted Kennedy, isn’t she?
My advice to Mrs Palin is, “lead, follow or get the hell out of the way!”
I like Palin a lot, but she’s a politician.
You know who doesn’t realize their favorite politician is a politician?
Ronulans.
Once you start thinking your favorite politician isn’t like the rest, well, it’s all over but the quoting of Ghandi.
I have less of a prob with Palin backing Fiorino as I do her backing a potential loser against a more conservative frontrunner. Fiorino may pull this off, but Cambell is a strong conservative with a strong lead.
Mebbe Palin fell for the demon sheep bit:

So who does Sarah Palin endorse in the California primary? Carly Fiorina.
If you ever worked for a company that Carly ran, well you probably aren’t anymore, unless you’re foreign.
You all have to remember that fiorina was mccains chief of staff during his campaign. Its still a loyalty thing. Which does not lend much hope to Palin. Loyalty misplaced is just as bad as being a kennedy. Look at that rearend clown in the White House, he is a loyal marxist, and look what that has got us. Now who would volunteer to serve a rino, other than a rino? Palin has lost credibility, the next thing you know she will endorse newt for something.
Nope, I will stick with the conservative, win or lose, at least I will be able to look myself in the eye, or be able to punch a hippy in their’s.
“Never trust politicians. Ever. They’re like trained wild animals. You may think they listen to you and are loyal to you, but one day they could just suddenly turn on you and you end up like Roy from Siegfried and Roy: Injured and very gay.”
Frank, are you injured?
Yeah, Palin gave me a case of the sads yesterday. When I went looking around to see who else had endorsed Carly, I found Collins, Snowe, McCain and Graham…..tell me that’s not a RINO dream team. *sigh*
Jeebus are you people THIS friggin’ stupid?
Chuck DeVore CAN’T win…PERIOD. Not only that, but the FEC is fixing to hammer him. He’s been using taxpayer money to pay campaign staff. We have enough of those kind of dirtbags don’t we?
That leaves Carly, or Tom Campbell…DeDe Scozzafava on Steroids!!
Campbell is SO liberal, it would be better to have Boxer. Not only is he pro-abortion, pro-cap and tax, so on, he’s taken money from a convicted terrorist, and is anti-Israel.
Carly is the right choice. She and Campbell are neck and neck and DeVore barely has 10% in the polls. He may be a “real” conservative, but he has run a pathetic campaign and pissed away any chance of a win.
Sarah is an actual leader…unlike you putzes…….and she saw what needed to be done, and did it. Leader lead…losers piss and moan.
The woman hasn’t made a misstep yet, not a single one.
You people are allowing the perfect to become the enemy of the good.
You make me shudder with dread J M. Lindsey Graham from my state of SC and Snowe and Collins from my wife’s state of Me. It’s a wonder we aren’t in worse shape than we are now. Unfortunately, Graham doesn’t come up for reelection until 2014.
Dude, Frank, this is California. A conservative cannot actually be elected. Sometimes conservatives can win primaries, but that’s usually due to Democrat-funded ads against the guy who they think might actually beat them in the fall.
Anyone the Dems choose to cast as a “Demon Sheep” can’t be all b-a-a-a-a-a-d.
I know someone who lives in Wasilla, AK who knew Palin when she first stepped into the political sphere. He says she was awesome in Alaska but has definitely changed as a result of the 2008 campaign – the attention, power and influence has gone to her head. The defiant hockey mom is gone – she’s not who she was before… now she craves the spotlight.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s true. She lost my support when she endorsed McCain – I don’t care if she’s being “loyal”. A true conservative who wants the best for this country would NOT endorse the RINOs.
I read palin got a lot of money to endorse her. Lets not forget that one of the few politicians her “pac” donated to was lindsey graham. I gave up on palin a while ago. She supported tarp, supported amnesty and said at the vp debate she believed in global warming. Wake up people! Your gonna elect us another mccain if your still defending palin. Its obvious palin is about one thing and one thing only, MONEY. She charged the teaparty a hundred grand for her speeches. She makes almost as much at fixed news as glen beck and shes rarely on.
Carly is a pro-life and pro-market, calls the science on climate change “inconclusive”, opposes cap-and-trade, and voted for Prop 8. She may not be as conservative as Chuck, but I have no idea what Burmashave is saying when he calls Campbell “more conservative”. Campell is pro-choice, pro gay marriage, pro cap-and-trade. Besides, Campbell was already crushed once in a Senate race (in 2000, he got 36.6 versus Feinstein). I don’t have any problem with someone preferring Chuck D (though don’t kid yourself into believing he’s a viable candidate http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2010/other/2010_california_primary.html) or being a little gunshy about someone with no background in party politics. But calling Campbell a “conservative” or saying he’s a better choice to go up against Boxer is just not accurate. Palin made the right choice. She’s going with the 85% conservative who has a chance to win over the 100% RINO with a record of losing the big ones.
I watched the debate.
Campbell looked dull, hesitant and frightened. There is something horrible wrong with him and I wouldn’t trust him with your money.
Fiorina was arrogant, flippant but entertaining. She, too, has something missing, she appears barely acceptable.
DeVore was a little dry, but oh, so articulate and informed. If I were planning to vote in the Republican primary, DeVore would definitely get my vote.
If he is their nominee, I might even vote for him over the Libertarian candidate.
