Well, the Wacky Moustache Minister called off International Burn a Koran Day, making a lot of people happy.
But IMAO Reader Laurie dropped me a line with the following intriguing thought:
Is burning a Koran any different than deleting a file of a Koran?
Here is a pdf which includes pages of the Koran:
http://www.muhammadanism.org/Quran/translations_koran.pdf
I downloaded it and deleted it.
Nothing bad happened.
Shame on her for insulting all those peaceful Muslims who threaten to kill people unless their demands are met.
Full pdf versions of the Koran also available in 17 different languages.
I just put on headline “news” (Communist News Network) at the bottom of the screen:
Muslims celebrate the end of Ramadan
I guess it didn’t occur to them that 98.8% of us could care less about some terrorist “holiday” ANY day of the year
but today….wtf?
oh sorry, of course it occurred to them, that’s why they made it so big.
I downloaded and then put in my waste basket on my MAC. It felt good!
sorry, I don’t download viruses
O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred… (8:65)

Radical Islam does not “hate” the US for our “freedom.” They dont really hate us for the Muslims we have killed after all they have killed many many more. They hate us for our arrogance, power, and wealth which they feel entitled to as “…gods chosen”. But most of all because we stand in their way of destroying Israel. At least after a number humiliating defeats like the “six day war” they have decided it was the “US” who was the cause of their losses.
My own opinion is that much like America, Israel when it was righteous was divinely protected as they have strayed that divine protection will be withdrawn and their enemies will find that the once unthinkable becomes the possible.
You’re practically quoting me up to the arrogance part, but it’s simpler than that. They hate us because we’re not them. Because we’re infidels. Our involvement over there got us in contact sooner, and arguably let them out of their primitive nursery, but their objective has always been the caliphate. That’s nothing new. Explain why they hate the Swedes so much.
Ha! Any Linux users?

From the command line, it deletes a copy of the Koran every second. /dev/null (a.k.a. the black hole) is my favorite Linux command line tool, but then again, as most of you know, I am easily amused.
I chose to download and delete the German version. I have never read something so angry.
If this comment is stuck in moderation, I will consider it a sign from Allah.
I’m going to fly a paper airplane into a screenshot of
the proposed “Ground Zero Westboro Baptist Mosque” too.
That’ll get ’em rioting in Tehran.
I was checking out iBooks on the iPad for versions of the Koran. I found The Complete Idiots Guide to the Koran.
Really.
Just sayin’…
Why are people trying to burn or delete Koreans? Who will build our our new 4gb sticks of ram or cheaply produce CGI? Stop people think through what your doing!

Those people live in India and are Hindus. They aren’t mad at us yet…
I’m surprised that nobody has thought of using a graphics program to horribly deface and mutilate a PDF version of the Koran, and then post a video of the whole process on Youtube.
I wonder if Youtube would consider such a video “hate speech” and remove it?
It’s long past time that more people learned the history of what idiots refer to as the “religion of peace”. We have been fighting the Muslims in their attempt to take over the world since the Crusades, which partly began after the Muslims took over (yes, took over – it was NEVER a Muslim city) Jerusalem. Way back in 1009, they purposely destroyed the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, perhaps the world’s most holy Christian church, and they’ve been doing the same thing ever since (yes, since the year 1009…that’s one thousand friggin’ nine). For all the college students out there, 1009 was long before there was a United States, let alone American troops anywhere in the world.
Son of Bob, et al:
Our young students aren’t taught history anymore…they are taught *revisionist history*, i.e. “Why the U.S. is an evil country and what you must do to undermine it.”
This country is being lulled to sleep by our weak politicians and corrupt media. Every time something happens, we’re told it’s a “wake-up call”. So quit hitting the snooze button and stay vigilant. Evil never sleeps.
Do note: deleting the PDF file doesn’t actually delete the data from your hard drive.
You need to use an eraser or shredder to physically rewrite the file. If not, the “holy” Koran will defile your HDD until it is randomly rewritten by the OS.
Instead of deleting Korans, we need to delete more Koran readers. Hellfire missiles do this quite effectively, and unlike a file “deleted” from a hard drive,
they shred the Koran reader beyond recoverability.
So, we sneak one of those little tracer chips into the binding of every Koran printed and we have a Koran seeking guided missile capability whenever we choose to use it? Gosh, I hope that technology never falls into the wrong hands!
The Muslims hate us for the same reason the Borg don’t like the Enterprise. They keep telling us resistance is futile, and that we will be assimilated into their little society eventually, and we keep giving them the bird, and blowing up all their stuff, then not only refusing to assimilated, but we keep producing culture phenomenons that their own people can’t help but to get into line in order to adapt.
That and most radical Muslims are secretly addicted to gay porn, and since San Fransisco produces so much gay porn, they blame us for their addiction, rather then themselves for getting addicted.
I downloaded a copy of the Koran and then set my computer on fire!
“You haven’t experienced the true Koran until you’ve read it in the original Klingon” 😀
If I don’t download it, is that not the equivalent of downloading and deleting?
Thanks to the modern digital age, I can virtually burn a Koran every few minutes.
Therefore every moment I spend, I spend burning a Koran.
I’m like a Super Koran Burner!
INTERNET… is there anything it can’t do?
Perhaps someone nerdier than me could do a animated .gif with a flaming Koran, kinda like Ace’s flaming skull?
