to me, the amazing thing is that anyone can believe obama when he argues that Romney’s policies are “trickle down” and his own are “bottom up” or “middle out”.
there can be nothing more “trickle down” than government edicts and presidential orders.
nothing can be more “bottom up” than advocating that the free-market be restored.
and another thing:
it’s astounding that anyone can believe obama when he claims that his policies would move the nation “forward” and Romney’s would move us backwards and re-implement the policies that “got us into this mess in the first place”.
what got us into the mess were the liberal policies that forced banks to make bad loans – subprime and alt-a loans – and then gave fannie mae the power to bundle them which gave wall street the feeling that they were government guaranteed.
the imprimatur of fannie mae is why the derivatives infected the entire financial sector – NOT GREED and not lack of regulations.
voting for obama is voting for the regulations and top-down government policies that not only wrecked the US economy. but have wrecked every economy they have ever dominated.
if we don’t defeat obama, then we are headed to the same place as greece: the toilet.
