I’ve been hearing a lot of complaints about the “You didn’t build that!” quote being taken out of context.
Usually the complaints come from people who didn’t care about context from Romney’s, “I’m not concerned about the very poor.”
Photon, there is no way to take Obama’s comment out of context. Whether you use just the four words, or his entire speech, he was basically telling business owners that they weren’t smarter or didn’t work harder than anyone else, and that they are lazy, greedy bastiches for not wanting to give their money to some welfare slut who didn’t have access to roads and bridges, and therefore the government couldn’t build a business for her.
