Democrat Congressman James McGovern said that, despite the government spending $74 billion in food stamps, “the benefit is too low.”

From Dinesh D’Souza: “Recently I asked an acquaintance in Bombay why he has been trying so hard to relocate to America. He replied, ‘I really want to move to a country where the poor people are fat.'”
I’m still an advocate of public food troughs, especially for the inner cities. This would allow increased (beneficial) food volume at lower costs. Just keep the slop flowing by adding more water during the hot, evaporative months.
$74 billion? That’s only $231 for every man woman and child in the country, what’s the big deal? If you add in the 30-50 million illegals, it’s even less.
When you compare it to the cost of GLOBAL WARMING™!!!111!!!1!1! which is like $57,788.275,486.09 per person, it’s nothing.
