How to Build a Cruise Ship

I’m not sure this is as visually fascinating as a lot of time lapses, but cerebrally, I found myself wondering often where those huge slabs of metal came from, and also how many millions of welding seams were required to get ALL these pieces to stay together tightly enough for this monstrosity to float.

  1. Even though I understand the concept of displacement, it still amazes me how something that big and heavy can stay afloat.

    If Titanic had a light show like that, perhaps Jack and Rose would have stayed together.
