They are really good and I’ll quote some them from time to time. Schlock Mercenaries is one of the best sci-fi comedies out there. It’s worth the time to go back and read it from the beginning.

I’m pretty sure xkcd is pre-9/11. I know Geek Culture is pre-9/11, and so’s Sluggy.
And I was glad to be able to bacon Wyrmlaf.
I used to read Sluggy Freelance, but somewhere around the point where Bun-Bun became an interdimensional space-pirate, the whole thing just got WAY too surreal for me and I dropped out.
I do miss the early days of stand-alone strips sometimes.
He’s planning on wrapping it up in about a year. He actually looped back around, in a sense, by using what looked like throw away gags as major plot points.
And who Bun-Bun is is a good question.
