Trump: “I’d like these briefings recorded, if there’s no good reason not to.
“You may hold the recordings and even destroy them if I’m not elected.
“If I am elected, however, I will direct you to produce these recordings.
“And for you to confirm that these are your voices, under oath, before a congressional committee.”
Few will consider that a good gamble.
