It amazes me how the left got away with painting fascism as right wing.
The left side of Socialism is “We need Socialism to take care of the poor”. The right side of socialism is “We need Socialism to make our country strong”.
American Socialists see free marketers pointing out that free markets create prosperity, and assume that we must be on the right side of Socialism, because they can’t imagine anything that isn’t Socialism.
or that the democrats weren’t the party of slavery, lynching and Jim Crow…
“All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.” Could just as easily be said today by a Socialist., even though it was originally said by the Father of modern day fascism, Benito Mussolini. Both want the State to be the ultimate ruler of all.
These days it’s getting harder and harder for me to tell the difference between the left wing of the Democrat party and the right wing of the Communist Party.
