For the 11th and final time, I’m taking up Friday night with an episode from Star Trek Continues.
The group of actors, some you’ve seen before and some you haven’t, who are fans of Star Trek began creating original episodes that would cover the fourth and fifth year of the “five year mission.” They planned to do 13, but CBS dictated they cease. CBS allowed them to finish he episodes they had scripted and cast, meaning they ended up with 11 episodes.
From just down the road in Kingsland, Georgia, they bought a warehouse, built permanent sets, and from that town of 16,000 residents that boasts both a Burger King and a Weener King, they created the show. So, for the last time, here’s an episode of Star Trek Continues.

Who wants to start?
CBS squandered a lucrative opportunity by not striking a deal with this talented company — with proven success in pulling off the genre and attracting fans — and cashing in on their abilities for a few years. Shame on their shortsighted executives. It’s a huge loss to fans, too.
CBS messed up. The fan films are better than theirs.
