I always thought they should break the Olympics into two parts, actual sports run faster, jump higher, score more points, etc and athletic exhibitions, performances judged by others and rated. They shouldn’t be lumped together as if they are the same thing.
You are correct.
Brute-force accomplishments are one thing.
Subjective technique or artistry is another.
Men excel in the first category. I pity the women who now have to compete against men.

Hmmm. Why break dancing, but not ballet? Or, for that matter, pole dancing? Or the Tango, or the Lambada? Or cheerleading? That’s a real poser. That it is.
The question is answered by finding out what race is most associated with the “Sport”.
Pole dancing would certainly get good ratings. Better than that thing they do with ribbons.
I gave up hoping when the Moon Walk dance failed to make an olympic sport…35 years, or so, of pure torment.
I heard Northam would have been favored in the competition, he had practiced it quite a bit in college.

I hear for 2028 they’re adding Olympic Hide and Seek. they originally wanted croquet but they couldn’t keep the caribou from nibbling on the croquet hoops.
