This is a perfect example of how statistics can lie. The only reason Evangeline Lilly scored almost as many votes as Gal Godot and Yvonne Craig combined is because she was up against Brie Larson. I’d wager that at least half the votes weren’t for Ms. Lilly, but against Ms. Larson. (I know mine was.)
I’ll wager that the future votes will be equally lopsided in favor of whomever Ms. Larson is matched up against. And I’ll certainly be doing my part to make my prediction come true.
