It’s like the war on terrorism though. One side has no moral ground, no low that’s too low, no respectable rules of combat. The other side hopefully still does and holds themselves to an ethical level that prevents them from being able to win the war. We couldn’t win unless we nuked them all, but then we would feel bad about all the collateral damage.
