Quote of the Day: Anarchists
Best If Read With Boris Karloff’s Voice
The media turned around fast,
and they saw their small ratings…
… sanity growing, and their influence fading.
People stared at the media and said:
“Fourth Estate? Why?
Why are you taking the Democrats’ side?
Why?”
But, you know, that old media
was so smart and so slick…
… that they broadcast a lie,
and they thought it up quick.
“Why, my sweet little bots”
— the fake newsmongers lied —
“There’s a side to this story
that’s too far-right on one side.
We come into your home
to be worshipped, my dear.
We’ll fix it up there,
And control what you hear.”
And their fibs cheered the crowd
Who were sheared just like sheep
And they told them aloud
that they’d lull them to sleep.
And those citizens who
tried to sue endured doxxes
the corrupt jailed their families
and stuffed ballot boxes.
Then the media got to the enemy itself:
Prosecutors.
And the last things they took
were the logs from computers.
The Supreme Court leaned left
Towards the cheaters and looters.
And the one speck of defiance
in the Senate or House
… was also struck dumb:
Neither a man nor a mouse.
