The Pininfarina-designed Fiat 124 Spider debuted in the U.S. in 1968 to an eager audience. Ah…memories..I remember when Fiat Chicks wearing red duffle bags was all the rage.
I had a 1975 MG Midget when i was in high school. It was in bad shape and someone was helping me repair it. When I mentioned it i was pleasantly surprised that a girl i liked said “Ooh. Will you take me foe a ride in it?”
That made me redouble my effort to get it going again. Sadly i never got it running at a street legal level due to me having no money. I never took her for a ride and i don’t even remember her name.
Its still sitting on my family property gathering rust.
If you’d like ill take a picture of it so it can be included in a future vote. Or in a humor post.
Please don’t tell me she looked like Daisy Dukes and you didn’t even get a picture of her.
I still have a yearbook. I can look and maybe I can submit a guest blog post with pictures that have circles and arrows with a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was.
Theres no piles of trash, Vietnam war Draft, or Restaurants owned by anyone named alice but i guess it could be an ok story.
