Turns out this lighthearted 80s comedy was actually a horror movie. Basically “what if Norman Bates hadn’t been an only child?”
God, I hate those hideous pictures they put on these things. I know they are easy attention getting click magnets but they’re not clever – just lazy and ugly.

It’s even creepier in the director’s cut, where, in the scene when Kevin’s grocery bags break, he bends over to pick up the scattered goods, and we see a grinning Old Man Marley peering from behind a tree and saying, “Nice!”
