At church one Sunday night, the music minister was letting the congregation pick out songs. I don’t know if the preacher hadn’t prepared a sermon, or what. Probably just something he felt like doing. Anyway, one Sunday night, a child raised her hand and asked for “Joy To The World.” This was in the late spring or early summer. But rather than tell the child that we’d sing it some other night, he had everyone turn to the hymn and led the music.
Why am I telling that story? Well, so you know that sometimes, when you least expect it, something Christmas-related turns up when you least expect it.
