Laurence Olivier was awarded a special Academy Award in 1946 for brining Henry V to the screen in 1944 as actor, director, and producer. That’s the movie with the Battle of Agincourt speech (the “band of brothers” speech).
The Battle of Agincourt was October 25, 1415, on the Feast of Crispin and Crispinian.

I prefer Branaugh’s rendition. Made me want to go kill Frenchmen.
Nice camera work & staging. The entire speech is a one-shot. It starts out with a Henry standing alone – it moves in to Henry speaking directly to his generals. As it progresses the camera backs out and the crowd around Henry keeps growing in size until finally he is addressing the entire army.
I agree, Uchuck – Branaugh did it better.
It’s like the Democrat party, except that’s a Brand of Bothers.
