  2. G snakes says:

Uh… I’ll take “Who let this ass clown in the White House” for $25 Alex.

  3. Weisenheimer Brainstorm says:

    Certainly not Frank J!

  4. Captain Obvious says:

Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes: “So the secret to good self-esteem is to lower your expectations to the point where they’re already met”

So this reminds me of Joe “Neil Kinnock” Biden
Tell the cartoonist to stop plagiarising.

  5. Plentyobailouts says:

hmmm oh I don’t know hmmm who could it be?

    SATAN?!!

    hmmm?

  6. Plentyobailouts says:

Why does Satan have those huge ears?

to hear michelle comming, so he can split.

  7. Jimmy says:

Most Democrat politicians have already lowered their standards to rock bottom. So, I’m stumped. Let’s see.

Brian Williams of NBC? (bows and genuflects profusely to O-ZONE)

Jim Cramer of Mad Money? (currently carrying water for O-ZONE)

Colin Powell? (American needs bigger gubmint, voted for O-ZONE)

I give up, Harvey. It’s Friday and this is making my head hurt.

    Beeeeer.

  8. Sgt Relic says:

Red Nanny? All members of Congress in descending order of seniority? This is too hard! Why not ask the meaning of life, instead?

  9. Harvey says:

Well, I can’t think of a liberal that this doesn’t fit, so this is really a Rorschach test for the readership.

Me? I thought of Obama’s shifting standards on lobbyists.

My second thought was his position on transparency.

Then there’s the second-rate broadcast networks and cable news channels becoming increasingly callous about abandoning any pretense of journalistic objectivity. Their treatment of Palin & Joe the Plumber, the increasing flood of Obama puff pieces, and their egregious manhandling of the Tea Party protests.

  10. Jimmy says:

Shucks, I thought you had someone specific in mind, Harvey. Now! No more ink-blots for the weekend. Something more warm and soft and maybe fuzzy. No flying cows!

  11. MarkoMancuso says:

I thought of the American electorate.

I also want to know what happened to the brown thing’s eyes in panel three.

  12. zzyzx says:

Saaaay! What is that brown thing anyway? It has the floppy ears of a dog, the horns of a goat, and the snout of a pig. I suggest it may be a chupacabra….better hide your goats.

  13. Xenophore says:

It’s a goat, or at least a crude representation thereof.

  14. Shayne says:

As a huge Pearls Before Swine fan, I love that you posted this strip. Personally, I think Stephen Pastis (the strip’s creator0 is a genius. His humor is clearly influenced by Berkeley Breathed (Bloom County) and Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes).

  15. seanmahair says:

    Life imitates art, again.

  16. Son of Bob says:

Actually, it seems very similar to most of the current GOP party “leaders”, who remain virtually silent as our country is further destroyed each day out of fear of criticism from liberal media. Not surprisingly, the “apathy”strategy doesn’t seem to be working for Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of the wonks.
