403 Forbidden

I’ve gotten a couple e-mails that some people have been getting “403 Forbidden” errors trying to access IMAO from certain computers. Also, I noticed our traffic has been down. Then again, it is December and we do suck. Still, if you notice IMAO to be inaccessible, please tell me.

  1. I can’t see many of the images on your site unless I turn off Norton Internet Security. If I click on the image, I get this error:
    Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /archives/Pink_Flamingos_mellomstort.jpg on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    Apache/1.3.37 Server at http://www.imao.us Port 80

  2. Thank you so much for posting this! It’s been driving me crazy. I can’t access your website. I couldn’t read your post about “let us know if you can’t access our site.” Very frustrating. I wonder if I’ll be able to access your site to see my comment here. Wow, my head hurts.

  3. I logged on to IMAO and didn’t see one ramp!!! Isn’t that against the A.D.A?…oh another kind of inaccessible…er…never mind.

  4. Still accessible from my network @ work. Kos, however, was recently blocked as “pinko commies” or something of the like.
I would note that some bastard admins at a certain overseas location prevented me from accessing IMAO last December.

  5. Yes, I came across IMAO a week ago, and have enjoyed reading the articles but haven’t seen one picture. Only the text name of the jpeg files shows up, but not the image! I figured it was because I hadn’t registered or else there was something wrong with my FireFox AND I.E. browsers (I tried both), but now I read that many people got the error.

  6. When I try to log on to IMAO at work, a dwarf with a large mallet comes into my office and smacks my foot. Is there some filter or something I can use to keep the dwarf from showing up when I log on? My feet hurts Frank!

  7. I got sent to work in the Netherlands, and at home and work I get the 403 message, but if I pirate my neighbors internet it works fine. Resently traveling around, I got 403 error in Ireland and Denmark but not Sweeden or Latvia.

I keep getting this for the podcast site.
