Thank you for your cogent analysis of Mr. Barry’s work, Frank. Excellent post. Professional historians have almost universal regard for Barry’s early seminal material, and it’s good to know that no less an Internet force than yourself has taken the time to put his data and reasoning to the test. And for the bonus of concision we can only applaud more.
“# On the Democratic side, the surprise winner is Barack Obama, who is running for president on a long and impressive record of running for president. A mesmerizing speaker, Obama electrifies voters with his exciting new ideas for change, although people have trouble remembering exactly what these ideas are because they are so darned mesmerized. Some people become so excited that they actually pass out. These are members of the press corps.”
Wow. At Right Wing News fully 1/12 of the best quotes of the year belong to IMAO bloggers. And some guy named Frank gets all the credit. Go figure. Seriously though, John Hawkins is no blind squirrel, he can find a nut here every day here.

“Dave Barry is making most of this up”……….No, Dave Barry is not making most of this up, some but not most. Most of it, unfortunately, is absolutely true.
Happy Armageddon, everyone…. catch you on the flip side.
Armageddon can’t come yet!
There are still 2 Harry Potter, and 5 Cronicles of Narnia movies I haven’t seen yet!
Also I’ve still got a lot of annoying people to out-live.
Oh what joy from Mr. Barry! A$$hat!
