  1. I have a model 721 that is at least 50 years old; I haven’t looked up the serial number on the appropriate references, but Remington stopped making them in 1962. It’s a most excellent weapon.

On another note, Ruger passed the 1 million guns sold mark late last month; it took them almost the full year in 2011 to reach that point.

  2. Bring it! There’s an old saying about picking a fight with an old man (goes double for an old woman-we’re mean and we’ve had years of practice). We’re tired, we’re disgusted, we have very little to lose and we’re dying anyway. I volunteer to be in the first wave.

  3. The Japanese attacked sucker-punched us at Pearl Harbor, but declined to come near the continental US because, in the translated words of Isoroku Yamamoto, Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Navy, “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.”

Sounds like a goal to “shoot” for!

If the individual mandate to purchase health care cannot be repealed, I know what the next mandate should be!
