So Obama is still going on about gun control. I thought he was just pushing it for a while to rally the base, but maybe he is really really stupid and actually believes in this. Still, he keeps using the same tired lines so I don’t know how he expects that to move things. Said Obama, “What’s more important to you: Our children or an ‘A’ grade from the gun lobby?” Yes, because it’s either Obama’s completely useless gun control that wouldn’t have done anything to stop Newtown or death to children.
The Republicans just need to take Obama aside and tell him, “Shut up, you idiot. You lost on this issue. Lost. Clock has expired. It’s over. You think you’re winning just because you’re the only one on the field still trying to play because everyone else has left to the victory ceremony. No one cares about your stupid gun control anymore and only a dwindling number of really dumb people think it will actually achieve anything. We know you hate freedom, Obama, but your just going to have to find a different one to attack. Here, have a cookie.”
Omit that last part if you don’t have a cookie to give him; teasing him with a cookie would just be mean.
What else does he have to talk about, the economy?
If he can’t first disarm America, then he can’t accomplish the rest of his plans.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting to get different results.
Actually, a modified cookie tease might be a good way to get Obama off gun control. Every time he starts in with it, offer him a cookie, and when he reaches in the cookie jar a mousetrap snaps on his fingers. Also an effective treatment for childhood obesity.
And now Chuck Todd says (on PMSNBC, of course): “It feels like we’re protecting the rights of the paranoid about government, rather than, sort of, the reasonable.” Well, poppycock, loser. I’m no paranoid. I’m a revolutionary. It’s the government that should feel paranoid.

The problem is that they haven’t lost. Maryland is passing a gun control bill right now that infringes even more upon the Second Amendment.

I think the Repubs should introduce a bill which extends gun rights and insist on a vote. Then insist federal law overrules state laws. Make the Dems take a stand. 2014 is just around the corner.

If we had any Republicans with stones they would introduce a bill requiring all Americans to purchase and own a hand gun as part of the process of getting a social security card! Any American caught on the streets or in their car without their weapon shall be imprisoned with butt wranglers until they learn the seriousness of their offense! I am willing to write the bill for whomever wants to sponsor it! It shall be very simple and shall reference the 2nd Ammend. of the Constitution! This means that Barney Frank shall be forced to carry whatever in his purse at all times! Ha!
