  1. Eh. Can’t see the vid where I am at. In the meantime: Didn’t care for it when it first came out. I think directly compared to the ground breaking sfx, the rest of the movie wasn’t all that great. But compared to most other sfx laden movies w/o their sfx, it’s pretty good.

    I’ve noticed sometime ago that movie post production quality has improved exponentially over the past forty years. Too bad things like screenplays and acting and direction can’t keep pace.

  2. that trailer reminds me of the worst part of that movie: grandpa didn’t die.

    in the book, he falls down a hill and is eaten alive by the littlest dinos… much like the scene at the beginning of the second movie.

    by that time, he’s been so terrible a person that you cheer when you realize he’s going to be conscious while they chew on him.
