Random Thoughts: Thatcher, Gorbachev, and Accidental Racist

I’m 33; don’t remember much about Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. All I know is whiny people seemed to despise her.

Remember when Time Magazine named Mikhail Gorbachev “Man of the Decade”? Did that even makes sense at the time?

Margaret Thatcher sure upset a lot of awful people.

Abraham Lincoln wouldn’t win a GOP primary today because he’d be far too racist.

Not sure what to think of the song “Accidental Racist” since I’m not really big on country or rap but I love racism.

If you’re still taking Obama seriously at this juncture, you’re very gullible.

A Molotov cocktail isn’t actually a true cocktail unless you add bitters.

  1. 1800: Time names Louis XVI “Man of the Decade”

1870: Time names Jefferson Davis “Man of the Decade”

1920: Time names Kaiser Wilhelm II “Man of the Decade”

2020: Time names Barack Obama “Man of the Decade”

    Uh-oh!

  2. The leftists are really setting the bar high the way they’re celebrating Thatcher’s death. It makes me feel my celebration of Hugo Chavez’ death was inadequate.
-But it’s OK, I’m taking notes for when Fidel Castro finally drops dead…

  3. If you’re doing the right things you’re going to upset a whole lot of folks. If you stand for something you’re going to upset a lot of folks. If you have morals, integrity and honor you’re going to upset a lot of folks because those who are doing the wrong things those who stand for nothing and those who can’t even find morality, honor and integrity in the dictionary really hate to be reminded how dishonest, immoral, intellectually lazy and wicked they actually are.

  4. “If you’re still taking Obama seriously at this juncture, you’re very gullible.”

You said a mouthful. But even a grifter like Obama can fool some of the people all of the time.
