Actually, it kinda came and went….but at least MIT still has their ‘research’ reactor right in the heart of The Nuclear Free Republic of Cambridge. Safe to say the average Elizabeth Warren bumper sticker type has no idea it’s been there for 30+ years. (yes, they really do say they are a “nuclear free zone” when they are one of the very few places on earth that isn’t.)
