I guess everyone knew about Mr. Potato head and his role in Casino. I thought the Casino part would have been mentioned in the section about his not being a gambler. Even in that role he wasn’t a gambler but (I think) security.
Don RIckles, Soupy Sales, Rodney Dangerfield, Joey Bishop, and Phyllis Diller—they used to just “show up” on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson, especially back when it was an hour and a half long.
